Welcome to Room 16!

Room 16 has had a wonderful start to our term through play-based learning!

Here are some things we have been doing on our first few days at school:

"The Tiger Who Came To Tea" was our book for the week. One day a tiger came to dinner and it ate everything in Sophie's kitchen!   We thought about our favourite foods, and what we would feed a tiger if it visited our house for dinner.

We are learning to make new friends and build relationships together by spending time with each other:

Isaac and Zain building together.

Kendall, Joyce, Riana and Tanushi making tiger food with play dough.

Stanley, Preston and Criston making bridges.

Stanley and Criston playing dominoes in different ways!

Ramon, Criston, Preston and Stanley with cars.
Huggie bear is watching them!

Sana, Iris and Eva drawing their favourite things.

Paea and Radeesh playing a train game.

Riana, Eva, Joyce and Iris making tiger food!

We made our own bag hook labels by scratch art.
We wrote our name and drew our favourite things!

We are busy people!

Thanks for visiting our class page!

See you next time!

Ka kite!
